Snapshot

GEOFLOWER is a culturally emerging community that has grown up enduring the eco-sensitivities inherent in our planetary transition, while enjoying the breakthroughs of integrating systems and philosophies to support an exponentially aligned new world. Founder, Rebecca Carlson, describes herself as “helping uplift humanity through this elevation in consciousness” which we are seeing expressed through ecology, biology, and society in greater systems integration / holistic applications / awareness of polarizing views / emergent interests and adaptations that benefit the collective, including nature and all life. She has been called a hands-on restorer of unloved gardens and lands, an articulate and self-aware humble leader in service to the greater good; a conscious rEvolutionary and profoundly inspiring healer and guide.

The community she has inspired is currently developing numerous self-directing initiatives, including a regenerative design incubator, a human-canine therapeutic group, and a self-awareness through growing program.

We’re pleased to be creating these new community pathways for bioregional catalyzers and regenerative activists. We invite you to participate in our classes and support us along the way!

Our Vision

People are inspired the world over to live in greater harmony with nature. Given the state of our world, it is imperative now that we take action as local communities to preserve and protect heathy land and to educate our neighbors how to build a mindful communal relationship with the land through personal experience.

We offer a unique ‘circulation’ of classes and immersions allowing people to cycle through the various layers of our ‘flower of life’ programs, being able to take their learning and experience into action exponentially onward along their path and into the larger world we are co creating.

We are creating an Educational Center & Land Trust as the ground from which to support people’s inner and outer education while working in harmony with earth. For this kind of holistic education to truly become second nature, we must invite people to a local farm & practice center to partake of our significant knowledge and experience in accessible hands-on ways, including mindfulness practices that help us attune to the world around us. Together with others, we learn to anchor and balance the abundance of information and connections for ourselves and within our blossoming lifestyle. We learn how to honor our unique path as well as our encounters in partnership with various communities.

With so many people of varying world-views needing to come together to learn how to re-integrate our collective dissonances and find a way forward, it is essential now that we create working examples of a spectrum of healthy living. We do this through securing healthy land, perpetuating healthy practices inner and outer, and beginning to expand our reach through an international network of sister organizations dedicated to an Integral vision for a healthier world. Both locals and international participants can travel and come together at varying network centers around the world to gain complimentary experience in places made specifically for sharing such incredible wisdom and traditions. Let deep inner transformation and awareness move through our collectives.

Join the conversation and be part of a truly local and global integration as we birth a new perspective for ourselves and our world - one that supports a diversity of examples of cultivated land, and cultivated hearts & minds, in balance with our inner and outer nature.

Supporting The Dream

Before us now is the opportunity to combine a very unique piece of land on 5 acres in Boulder County, just across the street from Boulder City, and demonstrate how to make it thrive by bringing together our local farm experience, native plant and ecology expertise, and a seasoned team of hands-on educators as we expand our 20+ yr roots in this community to promote vital and nourishing food, and self awareness practices in the process. Our aim is to grow our contribution and make a healthy impact by demonstrating the merits and need for organic food growth together with the awareness of how our direct connection with the land promotes health across many interconnected facets of our life and society. Our current methods add fresh momentum to our community’s natural living practices, as opposed to “Big Ag” methods which have been destroying healthy food, healthy soil, healthy financial balances for farmers, and healthy community. This land is specifically designed to be symbolic of a lighthouse in these changing times, a beacon to guide those who are wanting to promote and grow a healthy, non-toxic food supply and to live a more integrated healthy lifestyle inside and out.

Our current funding request is in the range of $20k to fulfill our $50k estimate. $30k has been graciously invested through SOIL to date on behalf of our current expansion and operational expenses for this planned 2 yr launch. See our business breakout below for details. We are grateful to our sponsors who choose to align with our mission and who support our growing contribution to our community.

The current designated growing areas used for vegetable, medicinals, and flowers are between 1/2 - 2 acres. We’ll increase the production area by between 50-100%, to reach the level of production to sustain the CSA market sales. Our funding request covers the requisite  expansion terms of materials, tools, and labor to continue this self-sustaining farm operation.

With regard to educational programs we have all experienced leadership and educators stepping into new roles. This team of individuals is outstanding in their own right. They are well-respected, experienced, and knowledgable industry leaders, capable of drawing people both locally, nationally, and internationally into the educational programs we are currently creating. Our long term plan includes developing the programs and learning opportunities that will be offered on-site, at sister centers around the globe, and eventually online. The back office work to engage marketing and social media, will receive additional funding as well.

Summary

COMPARISON OF SIMILAR SUCCESSFUL FARMING OPERATION

  • Our small scale farming offers the possibility for growing diverse crops and economies of scale to earn money in an organic certification practice for Community Supported Agriculture (CSA).

  • Our CSA offers stable membership both for high quality produce yields and local relationships in concert with relevant learning opportunities designed to expand people’s healthy earth-based understanding, self awareness, and local practices which in turn positively impact our social and collective climates.

  • Our flagship educational center aims to set an example of a keynote portfolio property that draws in the interest of people, which is then channelled into revenue from Educational Programs, a PDC, a local client-worker Cooperative (TLC), and sister center eco-tourism and WWOOFer worker exchange.

Thank you for your interest, shared values, and local community support!

We are available to answer your questions and expand our collective picture of what’s possible by supporting what is already in motion thanks to our commitment and experience. Let us know where your interests are and how you would like to support and/or be a part of our growing community. Thank you!

Observation

People are inspired the world over to learn to live in greater harmony with nature. We travel to wild untouched places of natural beauty to feel the aliveness and health of nature and ourselves. Yet in our own backyards and neighborhoods, the health of our land, waterways, and air, along with the awareness of our relationship with it and our responsibility as custodians has been increasingly challenged. Fortunately, we can learn to cultivate our properties and practices through hands-on learning at a designated local educational and retreat center to restore this coherence, this inner and outer balance between nature and our own Nature. By example, we can create a nature-based movement within our community, spreading the wisdom and experience, and making a world of difference each in our own way, in our gardens, farms, and backyards.

Objective

We must take action to preserve, protect, and participate in sharing the wisdom and traditions that support healthy thriving examples of cultivated land in balance with nature before this delicate balance is lost forever. It is imperative that we sustain and showcase land that embodies biodynamic diversity, permaculture principles, and mindfulness practices in daily life, as a living example from which to study and enhance our own local properties and heal ourselves and our neighborhoods. We have the unique opportunity to create a flagship eco-social farm and exemplary educational hub that helps lift people’s daily lives, health, and spirits into a beautiful, respectful, and grounded future for all, one course, one garden at a time, and to create affiliations with exemplary farms and gardens as sister centers around the world for continued learning and travel.

Offering

By preserving an existing biodynamic cultivated local farm & garden as an integral center, we support relevant conversations and tangible ways to come into right relationship with the land on which we live, thus facilitating the green socio-economic revolution right from our own properties and neighborhoods. Together with mindfulness and greater awareness we are positively shifting the cultural collective in our own backyards and around the world. Our programs are designed to support individual practices, groups, and certifications that help make it a desirable imperative for mindful citizens and property owners to actively cultivate green living through private properties as well as public marketplaces and positively impact our world.

Our Legacy

We are the stewards of what is to come. The actions we take now in support of our land, our educational focus, and our conscious communities will determine the support systems for future generations and earth balance. We have an unique window in time, an unprecedented opportunity to come into a greater understanding of nature’s rhythms and cycles and to find a deeper respect for the balance of natural law in alignment with human evolution. This is a process destined yet unique for everyone. Along the way there are identifiable patterns that speak to each of us. We can focus on and enhance everyone’s experience by focusing our education and services that promote understanding, encouragement, peace, self-growth, acceptance, awareness, kindness, fulfillment, and gratitude.

Llike the seed pattern in a sunflower, or light shining through a lotus, these patterns (of consciousness, of community) are like the flowering pattern of life. Each person’s lessons are a link to greater awareness for us all. We can support our collective evolution through the daily, local, and networked practices and education offered here. This allows everyone’s values and participation to evolve together, even when our collective spans the spectrum of learning.

Imagine a world where people live in harmony with Nature, where technological advancements weave seamlessly with ancient earth wisdom, and where daily lives are enriched and empowered by working WITH local land and community rather than outsourced or depleted by outmoded methods or limited earth-based education.

Imagine the way you live reflects your most inspired creative philosophy and purpose in greater balance with your sustenance and society.

Imagine the wisdom, learning, and practices that empower us to live like this are available at a center, at many centers, in a spectrum at a local and an international level. Some are here to practice Permaculture design principles, some work with biodynamic land cultivation, some practice integral ways of greening their lives, some use herbal remedies and self growth practices, mediation, yoga, and community based services. We all come together and create much needed transformation. May we each be the change we wish to see in the world.
