How Did Our Seed Vision Come About?
The seed idea for Geoflower Farm + Educational Center first sprouted back in 2019 while Rebecca, of Rebecca's Gardens, was working with her team on a biodynamic farm.
Working the land, hands in the dirt, with her long time team, things suddenly became clear. What she ‘saw’, came on the heels of a decade of selfless service and collaboration with budding architects from South America, local musicians, west coast naturalists, and other independent contractors. Through years of mutually beneficial professional team-building relationships, she wondered how all this talent and passion and goodness could come together as an expression of even greater harmony beyond the existing socio-economic business paradigm.
She recalls, "I really felt a strong connection with the earth, my team mates, and with the people on this particular property. We felt a relationship, or a living conversation, with the land as much as with each other. As I stood there and looked around at the beauty and bounty of what had been created on the land, I felt gratitude in my heart.
That gratitude was like magic… for a moment, I felt as if I was energetically lightened and I could clearly see an image forming — like a conscious movie unfolding overlaid on the current surroundings-- a vision of how things could be. What I intuited in that ‘download’ is essentially everything that I've envisioned for what we now call Geoflower."
She immediately went home and sketched out her vision —permaculture style! Having built websites professionally, she used this very website as her ‘whiteboard’ to write it all down. In her vision, she saw people learning and growing through engaging the land in self awareness together, flowing with sacred geometric resonance, creating harmony with the land. Again, rooted in years of study and practice, she intuitively understood how nature’s geometry, activating the 5th chakra at this time, is a transformative tool for aligning and creating what our culture calls a ‘5d’ lifestyle, and that the eventual social and cultural expressions are now beginning to grow in our personal and collective awakening.
To ground this vision, having grown up spending a part of each summer on her family’s ranch in northern Texas, she immediately drew inspiration directly from her ongoing experience with her family’s lineage in ranching/farming/homesteading, community service, education, and teaching.
It is true that goals can manifest in different ways, for example, depending on those who are attracted to the collaboration and the overall coherence of the group. Admittedly, in recognition of what currently exists in the habitual patterns of our culture, bringing any method or idea to fruition will mean transforming what was into what is, and what can be. And change is a mighty task, as we see playing out in our world at large through social structures, belief systems, and groups around the world. Fortunately, she and many others here are endowed with such passion, goodwill, stamina, common sense, grounding and grace, that Geoflower’s momentum continues to be well supported. Thank you!
We invite you to join us for our inaugural season at the farm! Come seed the future, host your own paid professional practices/skills/gifts, volunteer, nurture your own fun and enjoyment, make new connections and memories, and learn something new that will inspire your own path and adventure in growing. Geoflower has been born to deepen and expand the opportunity to reach others - each in our own unique way - with a feeling and message of hope and synergy, in a lifestyle that embraces a renewed relationship with self, group, and nature. We believe that what the heart dreams outside of time-- becomes a reality for those who trust in bringing these new pathways and connections forward now!
Recently, in autumn of 2023, we found suitable land to host and to grow our projects and our community!
Now, this season in 2024, we invite you to join us and experience the soft launch of our immersive educational and experiential programs!
